"Son Julia" has a unique and rich history, tracing back all the way to the 15th century when the Julia family possessed vast lands and the estate "Son Julia". The Julia family was a noble and highly esteemed family who kept "Son Julia" as their principal residence, passing the estate on from son onto son. Today, "Son Julia" has been completely restored, keeping intact some original items such as the well and the stone archways of the hotel. Now it has 25 sumptuously designed rooms and impressive suites, with private balconies and terraces, spacious bathrooms and offering guests the very best in technology, elegance and comfort.

Location

The golf hotel is located in the southeastern part of Mallorca, a region known for its green and flatland nature and its famous white sandy beaches. The hotel is located at just 10 minutes distance from the airport and 15 minutes from Palma de Mallorca, both by the new motorway direction Llucmajor (exit 22). Es Trenc, the spectacular white sand beach, is 15 minutes away and there are two 18-hole golf courses at less than 5 minutes drive from the hotel.

The golf hotel has 25 impressive rooms and suites to offer, among which you can find the Imperial, Royal and Grand Suite. Wide hallways give you the feeling of space throughout the entire hotel. Handmade oriental carpets, original works of art, cover the floors and walls. Also the elegant furniture in its warm Mediterranean colours has been selected in order to impress even the most demanding guest. The spacious Marble bathrooms are equipped with big showers and separated bathtubs.

Golf

Located within a 3-minute drive from the hotel are two Trent-Jones 18-hole golf-courses. The East Course, which was inaugurated in 1994, is a resort course with wide open fairways. Woodland and lakes come into play on some holes adding to the interest. The West Course is a championship course, with verdant hillscapes adding to the lakes & woodland. The large American-style greens provide an abundance of tricky putts.

Spa & Wellness

The restaurant "Las Bóvedas" offers products fresh from the garden in a stunning environment. The focus is on simple and pure cuisine, using a maximum of 2 spices in order to let the natural flavours and tastes of the ingredients be experienced to a maximum. Delicious wines accompany the exquisite dishes, which are served on elegant crockery, and make your visit to an experience full of sensation.

The "Mandarina" Pool & Grill Restaurante right beside the swimming-pool has a BBQ area, where a variety of healthy salads and grilled meats, fish and seafood will be served.

The "Orange Patio" is the ideal place to savour a drink whereas the "Lounge Bar Solinit" underneath the crystal cupola offers you a totally different atmosphere. Equipped with modern furniture and inviting reading nooks the bar exudes an atmosphere of intimacy and liveliness at the same time.
