As one of the largest private estates on the island, the 500 acre Finca is a working farm composed of large forest areas, cereal and sheep grazing fields, vineyards, numerous sport facilities featuring an exclusively private golf course and a 17th century manor house which has been carefully reconverted into a charming luxury country hotel, now rated within the top ten of its category in Spain. La Finca Rotana also includes a typical Majorcan dependence, Es Mayolet, built in 1908 and embedded in the extensive vineyards just on the opposite side of the golf course.
The owners, Chacha Theler and Princess Loretta zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, have been living and working there for the last 35 years, and with their eye for detail managed to create an oasis of good taste, tranquillity, and relaxation unique on the island, while conserving a piece of the authentic Majorca.

Location

Secluded in its own private 500 acre Golf and Wine Resort, La Reserva Rotana lies close to the the town of Manacor, in the heart of Mallorca. Once you have arrived in Manacor on the main road from Palma to Artà: Coming from Palma you take first roundabout opposite the gas-station (Repsol) and follow the signs. If you come from Artà leave the main road to the right on the third roundabout.

One of the most splendid and convenient facilities is the own golf course that it hosts. The golf course including a large driving range and practice facilities can only be used by guests of the hotel And due to this fact there is no need to make any tee-time reservations and neither wait nor queue at any events. Rooms

All interiors are decorated with hand picked furniture, antiques, works of art and frescoes. All rooms have under floor heating, air-condition, and satellite TV, mini bar as well as generous and luxuriously marbled and stuccoed bathrooms with every convenience. Old elements such as arches, stonework and beams have been respected. Where construction made it necessary original Mallorcan building materials like hand made floor tiles or a coffered ceiling were integrated.
