Location

Empordà Golf Resort is situated in one of the most privileged golf destination in Spain. In Girona province, in the heart of Costa Brava and in a well known zone as L'Empordà, in northeast of the peninsula. Place of big geniuses like Salvador Dalí o the recognized Ferran Adrià, we have known to combine the golf (11 courses only in 40 Kms) with the culture and the gastronomy. We are situated near the French boarder, so that it has given us a cosmopolitan air and it has opened us to the rest of cultures of Europe.

Rooms

The 87 air-conditioned guestrooms have bright, contemporary decor in natural tones and extend on to furnished balconies overlooking the golf course. All guestrooms include flat screen televisions with satellite channels and pay movies, direct-dial phones, minibars, safes, CD/MP3 players, and wireless Internet connections.

Golf

Costa Brava's favourable climate permits to play golf all year round. The natural beauty of the course and its adequate design make it one of the most attractive and stimulating courses in Europe. Robert Von Hagge was responsible for the layout of the last 9 holes and completed one of the most ambitious and creative projects in the area. The Empordà Golf course offers 36 HOLES in two magnificent itineraries: EMPORDÀ FOREST among pines and lakes and EMPORDÀ LINKS among lakes and dunes. The two courses complement each other magnificently, making it difficult to have a preference for either - so there really is no alternative but to play both and try to decide for yourself - things could be far worse!

Spa & Wellness

Back at the hotel, guests can exercise in the fitness centre, swim laps in the indoor pool or unwind in the sauna. Spa goers may also indulge in a range of beauty treatments and massages.

Catering

The restaurant opens onto a terrace with views of the golf course, and regional organic produce is used to create signature dishes like wild mushroom fricandeau and creamy curd cheese drizzled in honey.
