Location

Casas Viejas Benalup is ideally situated between Medina Sidonia and Vejer de la Frontera, within easy reach of the Alcornocles Natural Park, the unspoilt beaches of the Atlantic Coast and the exclusive golfing region of the Mediterranean. Benalup itself is a delightful 'white' village known for its lively ambience (with ¾ of its inhabitants under twenty-five!), not to mention the nearby towns of Jerez, Cadiz and Seville.

General information:

Three outside tennis courts made of artificial grass are located within the gardens of the compound. The Horse Riding Centre offers classes in the centre and routes in the La Janda valley and the surrounding natural park of the oak trees.

Rooms

The hotel has 80 double suites, one Presidential suite and a Royal suite. The suites are distinguished by their five different courtyard settings: Andalusian, Cádiz, Colonial, Asian and Delvaux. Hotel guests can choose between seven different decorative styles: Andalusian, Moroccan, Chinese, Balinese, English Colonial, African Colonial, Delvaux (Belgian Surrealistic artist). The suites are magnificently appointed with huge bathrooms and balconies overlooking the rice fields of the La Janda Valley and down to the ancient hilltop town of Vejer de la Frontera.

Golf

Benalup is a natural Golf Course with surprising views over the "Laguna de la Janda", rich in agriculture. The golf course construction and plantation have been effectuated following the latest norms and respecting the existing fauna and flora.
The Golf Course is a challenge for every golf player. The 6073m, PAR 73 is extremely technical.

Spa & Wellness

The Spa has been designed to be the ideal complement to a round of golf by offering specific treatments for the golf players. The Spa Centre's huge bay windows provide a breath taking view of the valley.
The Spa is organized on two levels creating two different areas: wet and dry. The dry area is 740 m² large and the wet one, 1260, forming a total of 2000 m². The upper level includes the reception area which is connected to the nearby medical centre. The reception area and the related administrative services (welcome lounge, reception desk, secretary, manageress office, toilets) overlook the Aquamedic pool.

Introducing the five distinctive and unique restaurants: gastronomic cuisine in the French Dining Room from Master Chef, Philippe Jégo (winner of the Meilleur Ouvrier de France). South East Asian flavours at our Asiatic restaurant. Relaxed dining at the Brasserie by the Pool and breakfast, lunches and light meals at the Brunch Room. Lunch & dinner at the Benalup Golf & Country Club restaurant.
