Golf
Palheiro Golf is 10 km east of Funchal with magnificent views overlooking the town and bay. The 18-hole course was designed by Cabell Robinson in 1993 and is set in the estate and parkland of the Quinta do Palheiro. Remarkable for its Bermuda fairways, fast greens and the presence of many mature trees, the course is a worthy challenge for all handicap levels. Palheiro Golf Course Clubhouse is both spacious and welcoming and has one of the best views on the island.
