The Sofitel Marrakech Lounge and Spa is a quite newly built hotel carefully designed to resemble a Moroccan Palace. Its traditional architectural style and ochre walls give it an undeniable charm. Consisting of a series of buildings ranging from 4 to 5 floors, the layout invites you to stroll through lovely lush gardens full of plants and makes your way to the beautiful swimming pool edged with tall palm trees. Resembling a Moorish palace with its huge lobby which has a large metal statue of a traditional water carrier, guests are greeted in the traditional Moroccan way with a "Marhaba" welcome. Through the tall glass doors that are generally left wide open, the view stretches as far as the eye can see from the flowered gardens near the pool outside all the way to the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains on the horizon.

Location

Sofitel Marrakech Lounge and Spa is situated on the outskirts of the city at the edge of the Hivernage district. From here, is just as quick and easy to reach the bustle of the Medina as it to find the serenity of one of the Marrakech's 3 golf courses. As well as being within easy access of the city centre by taxi, the hotel is ideally situated near main roads which lead out of the city, ideal for excursions to the Ourika Valley for example. Marrakech Menara Airport is 10 minutes' drive away.
