Location

Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort is 45 minutes away from the airport and about an hour drive away from the country's capital, Port Louis.

General information:

Ideally located between sea and nature, between the golf course and the lagoon, amidst the splendour of tropical gardens, the golf resort offers peace and tranquillity in abundance. A flowing river Citronnier gives the hotel a particularly delightful charm. Relax at the Seven Colours Spa - Millesime Collection or join an adventure trip by bike through the "Frédérica Nature Reserve". Even a range of watersport activities is offered: diving, deep sea fishing, snorkelling, sailing, wind surfing, kitesurfing or water skiing. For the youngsters the Kids Club is a great opportunity having a good time.

Rooms

The 158 rooms and suites are accommodated in villas of 6 or 8 rooms. Butler service is also available 24 hours a day. An outdoor shower is available in all Junior, Senior and Ocean Suites situated on ground floor. Superior rooms have a spacious en-suite bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower and separate toilet. Certain rooms have a sofa bed which can accommodate up to 2 children up to 12 years. Otherwise a single adult extra bed can be placed in the room. Certain Superior Rooms have an inter-leading facility with a Junior Suite or an Ocean Suite. A number of rooms have sea views whilst others enjoy views of the river.

Golf

Designed by South African golf architect, Peter Matkovich, the par 72 Championship Course of "Heritage Golf Club" has receptive greens and wide undulating fairways, which cut through the sugar cane fields, against a backdrop of volcanic mountains and breathtaking views of the ocean. The land was originally part of a working sugar plantation and much of the landscaping and design features, as well as the use of Vettiver and Mondo grass, simulate the dramatic contours of the estate fields, which still surround the course. Technically challenging features include strategically placed bunkers, tricky elevations, water hazards and blind greens. Two rivers, Citronniers and St Martin, cross the fairways at unexpected places! While the course has been designed to challenge advanced players, it will also be enjoyed by recreational golfers. Five sets of tees are provided for each hole, with generous fairway provision, where necessary.

The Seven Colours Spa - Millesime Collection is nestled between tropical gardens with lush vegetation, ponds and water features that soothe; calm and assist in balancing the senses. Your individual sensory journey will begin once you enter the elegantly designed spa, and experience the many forms of holistic healing, well-being and pampering on offer. Catering

Taste a touch of creativity! The golf resort offers a rich variety of restaurants, allowing residents to give free rein to their desire to discover new flavours and cuisines. An important part of the pleasure of a well cooked meal is the opportunity to choose the ingredients oneself. Guests are more than welcome to inspect the catch at the jetty, brought in fresh from time to time by the fishermen, choose the seafood and discuss with the chef how they would like it prepared. Take your lunchbreak at the beach restaurant "Gin'ja" with its asian fusion mix or spend your time at the pool bar "Le Palmier" which offers light, Mediterranean style cuisine. After a match on the course enjoy your break at the A-la-carte-Restaurant Château Bel Ombre. Built in the 19th century, this Restaurant is where dreams and romance reign. From 10 pm chill out in the "Cavendish Bar" listening to the live band and overlooking the river. Open for breakfast and dinner the main restaurant "Annabella’s" is designed on four levels, and affords stunning views of the mountains and the river.
