| The Picciolo Golf Club is the first golf course constructed in Sicily. It was designed, in the 1989, by Luigi Rota Caremoli. The beautiful 18 holes are among oaks, hazels and vineyards.
The fairways of the course are mostly wavey and possess several water and sandy hazards. What particularly distinguishes this course is the breathtaking beauty of the landscape: the 18 emerald green holes seem to be caught in the black of the lava hills. The most difficult hole is the eleventh, a narrow, 387 m long par 4 with water on the right side and an out on the left side of the fairway. |
