The Kaya Eagles18 hole Golf Course was co-
designed by David Jones (Irish golf course
designer) and Golf Med Ltd, and opened in late
2007. It is a Par 72 course set amongst a pine
forest on the south coast of Turkey.
David said,” Kaya Eagles was a very interesting
project for me. I often see golfers frustrated by
monster courses. At Kaya Eagles I had a compact
site to work on – 65 hectares and decided to aim
for a shorter layout which would be enjoyable for all
golfers, including those who do not hit the ball vast
distances. I think I achieved that. “A course for
everyone.”
Kaya Eagles course has quite a few dramatic
holes where the player must choose between risk
and reward. The shorter par threes provide interest
by strategically placed bunkers and subtle
contours on the greens. The snow-capped Taurus
Mountains provide a spectacular backdrop to the
course as it meanders through eucalyptus, olive,
pine trees and around crystal blue lakes.
The Mediterranean climate and Turkish hospitality
make Belek one of the top golfing destinations.
Belek is becoming well-known for its variety of golf
courses, high standards and value for money.
Whether you are already a keen golfer or a
complete beginner, this is the place to hone your
skills.
