The Real Club de Golf has the oldest golf course in
Spain. Initially opened in 1957, it has been upgraded
and redeveloped with wide fairways surrounded by
trees and immense sand bunkers. The course has
beautiful views towards the mountains and out to
the Atlantic Ocean.
All the holes are different and ensure that
golfers use all their clubs on the course. There are
some narrow fairways between the crater of
Bandama and deep ravines. The greens are all well-
protected and there are several bunkers of
caralolillo
sand.
The Club provides a wide training area, pitching
green and two putting greens (one is illuminated).
Golf lessons are on offer with experienced
professionals; and hireage of caddies, trolleys and
buggies are available at the golf shop.
