The hotel offers three floodlit tennis courts and instructor, a heated swimming pool, children's heated pool, sports and learning programmes for children up to 11 years old and the Penguin Village (to entertain our small guests). Penguin Village, Dona Filipa's unique facility for children is supervised by professional staff and available daily from Easter until September. There is a health club next to the hotel, 800 metres away. Horse riding facilities are within four kilometres of the hotel, and numerous water sports activities and deep-sea fishing are within ten kilometres. The nearest town, with Roman remains, shops, entertainment and a casino, is in Villamoura, 12 kilometres away. Estoi (20 kilometres) also has Roman ruins. |
